The indoor units are available in 2.5kw and 3.5kW output with each coming with its own handheld remote controller. Each of the indoor units can be set to different temperatures but need to be in the same mode.
For instance, you could have in heating unit 1 - 20°c, unit 2 - 22°c and unit 3 -24°c as an example. The Mitsubishi SCM40ZS-S will operate in heating down to -15°c so can be used for reliable year-round heating in the UK. Each of the indoor units can also be fitted with a wi-fi module if required to operate them remotely via a smartphone or tablet device if required. Automatically, the unit determines its operating mode and temperature setting based on a fuzzy calculation, and adjusts the inverter frequency. Stops the operation automatically when there are no people detected in the room for a certain period of time.
