Make sure the connection is secure. Find the low pressure service valve. Identify the low pressure air conditioning (LP) service valve. It is usually marked with the letters "LP".
The valve is located on the aluminum air conditioning pipe, usually near the engine or behind the front belt. The LP valve has a diameter of 13 mm or 17 mm.Turn the CARFIX® container upside down. Begin loading the contents into the system through the LP service valve.
Watch the pressure gauge closely. Continue the process until the gauge reads 40-45 psi, approximately halfway to the green area on the gauge. Adjust based on outside temperature. Do not turn off the engine or air conditioning immediately after injecting the CARFIX® solution. Let the engine and air conditioning system run for a few minutes. This allows the CARFIX® to fully circulate and reach maximum efficiency.
