BMW OEM E21 320i FRONT AC CLIMATE CONTROL HEATER TEMPERATURE SWITCH 1980-1983
It includes the knobs, cables and heater fan switch. It was carefully and properly removed from a 1982 320i including all of the cables still attached. The reason I leave all cables attached is to protect the cable anchor points, all of which are in perfect condition on this heater control.
Its working perfectly and will install properly. This part is working perfectly except as shown and described below.
The only flaw on this heater control unit is the upper left mount. The tab it is broken off but the heater control will install normally.
Please notice this flaw in the third picture. The "heat" and "direction" knob have spring-loaded locater detents so the knobs don't spin loosely.
These detents are in proper working order. The plastic on the face is in really nice shape with no damage or pry-marks, except for the damage to the upper left mounting tab.
The knob and cable control mechanisms are in perfect working condition and free from damage. All pivot points and clips/tabs are good.
All three cables work smoothly. The air vents operate like new and the open/close mechanism works as they should. The emblem lighting system is perfect with all fiber optics intact. Does include the heater fan switch and all 3 knobs. These are getting to be really hard to find parts in any kind of functional condition. This one is ready for installation.
