Only used at'night' and then only in the summer. This unit is hard wired so no problems with condensation - I had one before that condensation built up the remote wouldn't work. Can run the unit as a heater too. There is a auto mode. You can control the lux sensitivity so day night can always be sensed - I never had to. You can run fan only. This unit was used to cool a room 2.5 meter X 2.5 meter but would cool bigger space easily. It has no problems and runs like new. Cylinder and gauge included with new spare copper hoses.
