Split systems consist of an indoor and outdoor unit, connected via copper piping. All our AC units are heat pumps and are able to both heat and cool.
Multi split air conditioning systems indoor and outdoor. Indoor units: Should be selected based on their BTU/KW output and recommended maximum area specified for that output. Outdoor unit: Should be selected based on the sum of the above. A multi split system consists of 3 separate areas. The cooling load of each area = 9000BTU, 12000BTU and 18000BTU. Based on this, the outdoor condenser should have a minimum output of this 39000BTU total. If the condenser is undersized then (assuming no diversity) the output of the indoor units will be proportionally reduced. These multi-split systems are designed for easy fit and speedy installation, however the work should always be undertaken by F Gas Registered Engineers. (i) Installed by F-Gas registered installer. Erviced by F-Gas registered installer (every 12months).
