87-93 Ford Mustang Air Conditioning AC Compressor Unit Parts or Repair OEM REMAN
THE AC COMPRESSOR IN PICTURES IS THE EXACT ONE I WILL SEND YOU. THIS UNIT IS A REMAN UNIT AS PICTURED. Up for sale is a clean factory ford original AC compressor unit pulled from a 1990 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 factory EFI car. Will work on all 87-93 mustangs and possibly a few others but buyers please check fitament if your car is outside those years as this unit was pulled specifically from a fox body.
The compressor seems to be in ok working condition and it looks reman'd from sticker and converted to newer AC. Had the oil in it still and the clutches seemed nice and tight. Can hear it pump when put on machine. This is why its titled rebuild or parts.
This AC unit is for PARTS OR REBUILD period. So it is as is. Most likely should be converted to new style refrigerant at this point.
This is ONLY because I can not confirm its functionality due to an improper charged system on the mustang itself. And no one sells the old R134 to test it.
If it works that's good, Seems like it would as the clutches feel ok however again I cant test that. I know these sell knew for 225+ w/o some of the parts like the manifold or pulley assemblys. Seems to be just fine, and pumps but hand but that doesn't mean the clutches might be a little worn. So again, this AC will either need rebuilt or used as parts or you can take a chance with it. We cleaned it up for you and painted it high heat aluminium and black. The compressor in the photo is the exact item you will receive. As you can see you can view the ford OEM stock numbers on the back side on the blue tabs. Seems to spin just fine no noise and the from pulley seems to make pump noise when turned as if it was engaged.
